Fantasy sheets offers metrics and stats that aren’t available on other fantasy football sites. Today’s metric is average fantasy points per position (avg pts /pos). This statistic is particularly useful when comparing players at different positions. Here’s how they break down:
| Standard | PPR | |||
| Pos | Avg | Pos | Avg | |
| RB | 11.26 | RB | 13.8 | |
| WR | 8.82 | WR | 14.0 | |
| TE | 6.54 | TE | 13.0 | |
| QB | 18.16 | QB | 18.2 | |
As you’ll notice, RB has a huge premium in Standard leagues. They average more almost 2.5 points more than WRs and more than 4.5 points more than TEs. However, in a PPR they actually average fewer points than WRs and less than 1 points more than TE. So know your league’s scoring format. It can make a big difference.
